From the TDC Vice Presidents Desk – Monthly Meeting

Good morning All!!

I hope everyone is having a great day here on our mountain.
Our monthly meeting is June 14th @ 10. The meeting will be held at the Lodge, 1 Bobwhite Circle.  Have you ever wondered what the future of our mountain is…..The developer of the disc golf is going to be at our meeting.  He will be making a presentation to the community.  We would like to have as many of our community members that we can get to come and listen, ask questions and whether you are for or against this idea we need to hear from you.  There will also be updates from our committees, if you are interested in what the events committee is planning in the future or, if you are wondering what is happening with our pool.  These are topics of discussion.  Again, we want input from you our community.  These things don’t happen without community support.  We value your thoughts, suggestions, opinions.  We want transparency, and we cannot have that without you showing up and hearing what and how we are trying to improve our community.
Following the meeting will be the meet and greet with Cesar Ramos, candidate for Sheriff of Otero County.  We are a small community that gets forgotten during election time because of our small number of voters.  Mr. Ramos drove up here for our Memorial Day events and listened to a few of us, he then asked for a meet and greet with our community.  There have been grumblings on Facebook about thefts lately, and complaints of other things.  These are things he needs to now even before he is elected.  He wants to hear from you, so, come listen to him, ask your questions, tell him what you think the issues are in Timberon.  We are only as strong as our weakest link.  So, let’s stand together and voice our opinions.
I cannot stress enough, we need you there on Saturday, tell your friends, tell your neighbors.  Please take a couple hours of your day and join us.  We hope to see many of you there. Enjoy your day!!
Respectfully,
Terri Ratley
Vice President
Timberon Development Council
