From the TDC Vice President’s Desk – Monthly Meeting Recap

Good morning everyone!! I hope this email finds everyone doing great!!

We have so many things going on in the next couple of weeks. I am going to try and hit the highlights, and if you have questions or suggestions, please feel free to email me.

Memorial weekend is shaping up to be an event our community will enjoy and be proud of. First, if anyone has stuff lying around their house they know is just sitting there, please donate to our garage sale, which will start May 23rd and run until May 25th. We are also looking for donations to our silent auction, which will run the same days. The winners will be announced on Sunday night. You do not need to be present to win. Lorie will contact the winners All proceeds will go back into our community, TDC does not profit from these events..

We still need vendors, if you or someone you know would like to sign up and be part of this event, please let me know, either by email or FB messenger. I do have a vendor list, so everyone who wants to be a vendor, we will make sure you have a spot.

Dont forget our T-Shirt contest. Submit your designs to the TDC by May 23 rd. They will be displayed at our booth for the community/visitors to vote on. The winners will be notified when the silent Auction winners are announced. Please put your contact information on your submission because you don’t have to be present to win. Remember we have categories, Adults and children. Join the fun, winners will get their design on a TDC T-Shirt.

Busy Bee will be hosting a band Saturday night, the 24th, so bring your chairs and listen to some awesome music. I am sure you have seen the large structure by Don Wiklunds condos. The Flying Royals are in town. They will have several performances Memorial weekend. Don says he has a few condos left, so if friends are coming in contact him and get your condo before they are gone. Don will also have live music that weekend!

The Neighborhood Watch will be holding their first movie matinee of the season on May 25th @ the lodge. So, if you just want to catch your breath from the busy weekend, join them for a fun filled movie.

On May 17 Th @ 10 am, 372 Pounds, Ed Carson will be hosting his community class. This will be a tour of BSD Farms. If you are interested in learning how to grow cannabis, join Ed at BSD Farms. It sounds like it will be very interesting. I do want to say be there no later than 10, the door will be locked once the group enters. Ed is also working on other community classes, if you have a skill you want to share with our community get ahold of Ed and he will make it happen. A big shout out to Ed for continuing these classes.

I know everyone wants to know about the pool. We are on track to have the pool opening on May 23 rd. All major repairs are being finished, then we have our inspection and once we get that green light the pool will be opening on schedule.

The events committee has other events in the works. Don’t forget about their dances. And on the Fridays that there is no dance, There will be game nights.

I know I threw a lot of information into this recap and I am sure I missed something, and if I did I am sorry, let me know and I will get the information out to our community.

Please mark your calendars for whatever interests you and we will see you then!!

Respectfully,

Terri Ratley
