Happy Friday all!!
I am sorry I didn’t get the monthly update out after the last meeting. It was not a large agenda and we had very few people in attendance due to the weather, it was just a rainy dreary morning,
All committees reported their updates, The pool committee is working on plans for the next pool season. The garden committee was still trying to get the fence installed. The event committee reported that the Labor day event went well with few hiccups. They are working on the Halloween event and then their focus will be mainly on our big Christmas event. I have said this before and will keep saying it, they need volunteers. As these events get bigger, they are going to need help. Even if you only have an hour to spare, they need that hour.
I have a few events to remind everyone of…..
October 4th – Candidate question and answers @ the lodge, @ 2 pm. If you look at the flyer, it will give you an email address to ask questions if you cannot attend. The event will be on Facebook live so you can watch it, again if you cannot make it.
Saturday October 11th @ 10 am at TDC office will be our monthly meeting. Please plan on joining us so you can hear what is going on in our community.
If you have any questions or issues, please let me know. You can reach me through this email address. terriratley.tdc@gmail.com
Respectfully,
Terri Ratley
VicePresident
Timberon Development Council
PS – I forgot an update on our community classes. Otis Price will be holding another flintknapping class on Oct. 14. Please contact Ed Carlson if you are interested in attending this class. Class size is very limited so you need to get your name on his list.
Also, Ed enjoys holding these classes, but in order for him to continue these classes he needs community members to step up and offer to teach a skill they have, So, please let him know if you want to volunteer and what type of class you would like to teach.
Thankyou,
Terri Ratley
