Over the years, the TDC has been actively involved in events promoting and benefiting the Timberon community. Recent and ongoing projects include:
- Organization and Production of the annual Timberon 4th of July Parades
- Financial Support of the annual Timberon Music Festival
- Administration of monies for Timberon Pool equipment
- Ongoing maintenance of the Timberon Webcams and the local Timberon Weather Station
- Donations to the Timberon Volunteer Fire Department (TVFD)
- Fiscal Sponsor for the TVFD
- Management and staff of the Timberon Welcome Center
- Obtained and facilitated the creation of the Timberon sign at the entrance road into Timberon
To continue in our efforts to promote the Timberon community, the TDC is seeking donations for events in 2019, which include:
- Prizes for the winning floats at the 2019 4th of July Parade
- Improvement and beautification of the new fishing lake at the Timberon Lodge
